Morning at the Geothermals

It’s amazing how similar areas can be although so far away. There are so many places in Bolivia that looked like Iceland, it might as well be the same country instead of worlds apart. This shot was taken in an amazing geothermal area in the highlands of southern Bolivia. The rising sun was beautifully softened by the dense vapor.
