Seaside Douc
It’s often extremely hard to display wildlife in a compelling way when still showing their surroundings in a way that gives the true context of the scene. Luckily, this beautiful red-shanked douc was perched in a way that allowed me to include the lone tree and the rocky edge of Son Tra Peninsula. This shows the plight of these beautiful and delicate creatures: they live on a peninsula being turned into tourism. I hope the Vietnamese government stops this abomination before it’s too late.
